Hi I'm Carlton and ...I'm a professional photographer in the Boston area. The photographs that I like to take are business portraits and places. The various galleries below show examples.

I’ve been a photographer for over 20 years and spent a lot of time in the darkroom, but I’ve converted to digital since 2003. I’ve had to use Photoshop for retouching so I’ve really exchanged the wet darkroom for the dry one.

My style of photography when photographing people is to capture the moment when personality and personal style are revealed. This requires getting comfortable and feeling at ease and almost forgetting that a camera is pointed at you. At events, I move around unobtrusively and capture that moment of personality and style.

When I photograph scenes that don’t move, such as architecture, I’m a perfectionist. I take my time to make sure details are accounted for. And after I take the photo, no matter how great I think it came out, I challenge myself to take another one that is better.

The enjoyment of photographs is very subjective and I can’t make you like my photographs, but my delivery of customer service and willingness to work with you until you get what you want is something that I’m deeply committed to.
